Job DescriptionThis role is part of the highly-regarded Graduate Development Programme, offering the opportunity to work on interesting projects that make a real difference to the planet. As a Mechanical Engineering Graduate, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment in industrial plants to meet and maintain target line availability and supporting functions.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment in industrial plants
- Ensure line is at or above target by tending to breakdowns and assisting with preventative and predictive maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot issues in production, performing root cause analysis
- Work with planning and operations staff concerning production scheduling, machine capabilities, and engineering issues to ensure efficient production methods
- Analyse manufacturing process flows continually for enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput
The recruitment process involves several stages, including an online application form, a Psychometric test, a short video interview, and a Virtual Assessment Centre comprising a group exercise, individual presentation, and final competency-based interview. Depending on the role, there may be a follow-up call or visit.
Requirements- Be no more than 12 months post-graduation and available to take up a position no later than 30 September 2025
- Have no more than 12 months' work experience (not including university placements, internships, summer jobs, etc.)
- Be eligible to live and work permanently in Canada
- Have a Degree and/or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
