About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Arterra Wines Canada. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and executing our provincial sales strategy with a group of customers within the Toronto North territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage territory to maximize coverage and achieve sales objectives, while building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Grow our portfolio sales at all points of sale, including LCBO, On-Premise, and Grocery channels.
- Plan and set priorities for each customer visit to achieve organizational goals, and ensure that all information, knowledge, and documents necessary to communicate and present are available.
- Negotiate display space, shelf space, and inventory levels with customers.
- Execute store audits to ensure marketing activities are being executed as planned and report any breaches to management.
- Increase product distribution in all retail and licensee locations, including restaurants, hotels, bars, and other establishments.
- Ensure proper management of all paperwork and reports as required.
- Communicate any facts and situations within the territory that could impact Arterra's business to the District Sales Manager.
- Identify new opportunities and develop action plans to address them.
Requirements:
- University degree or College Diploma.
- 3+ years' experience in sales, with experience in retail or licensee industry a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Internet.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ideal candidate will be based in Toronto North (Brampton, Markham, Woodbridge).
- Able to spend majority of time traveling within territory.
- Wine knowledge/education a plus but not required.
- Your vehicle must be less than 5 years old.
- Smart Serve Course a must.
