Northern Uniform Service Corp. is seeking a dedicated and dependable Production Specialist/Industrial Sewer to join our team in our stockroom. This role is a stepping stone to advancement for those willing to be responsible and accountable for their performance.
About UsWe are an independently owned, Ontario-based company in the uniform and mat rental business, serving various industries throughout the province.
Key Responsibilities- Work in a fast-paced environment on our TSS line, sewing and assembling products with attention to detail.
- Meet production standards and maintain a high level of quality in your work.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth production.
- Follow written, verbal, and demonstrated procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Perform repetitive tasks, including standing and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Experience sewing in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working on an assembly line.
- Apparel manufacturing skills are desirable but not required.
- Basic English skills, including reading in English, are necessary.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
