Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of low carbon resilient project initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, coordinating, and managing projects to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee energy audits and assessments to identify low carbon resilient opportunities
  • Facilitate consensus amongst internal and external stakeholders to secure financial support and human resources for project implementation
  • Manage low carbon resilience projects to ensure successful implementation and post-project measurement and verification
  • Work with assigned staff to review, analyze, and interpret low carbon emissions data and implement changes to meet specific greenhouse gas emissions targets
  • Partner with Planning and Projects teams to develop project charters, plans, and deliverables
  • Contribute to the implementation of effective processes to assess project risks, identify risk mitigation strategies, and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, planning, sustainability, or a related field
  • Five years' recent experience in a leadership role in project management within a large complex organization
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and building automation systems
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure to meet deadlines and balance work priorities
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
