Job Summary

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Roofing Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of roofing systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of roofers, apprentices, and labourers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including materials used and labour hours worked.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be exposed to noise and other hazards.
