Banala Consulting Inc. Software Testing Technician Job Description

At Banala Consulting Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Technician to join our team. This permanent role is based on a 40-hour workweek, and we require a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in software testing.

Work Setting

The chosen candidate will work in a fast-paced consulting firm environment, where they will be responsible for developing and documenting software testing plans, monitoring system performance, and executing tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Responsibilities

The Software Testing Technician will be responsible for:

  • Developing and documenting software testing plans and ensuring they are aligned with business objectives
  • Monitoring the performance of computer systems and networks to identify potential issues
  • Installing and configuring software and hardware to prepare for testing
  • Executing and documenting the results of software application tests and information systems tests
  • Developing and implementing software testing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality software applications
Certifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should have associate-level certifications such as Associate Computing Professional (ACP), Certified Computing Professional (CCP), or Information Systems Professional (ISP). They should also have proficiency in programming languages, SQL, database software, and MS Office.

Personal Suitability

We are looking for a candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills, who is a team player, organized, and able to work under pressure. The chosen candidate should be able to adapt to fast-paced environments and tight deadlines.
