About the Role

This Maintenance and Repair Professional position is ideal for someone who is passionate about ensuring the smooth operation of complex machinery and assembly systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Determine and schedule equipment maintenance requirements, collaborating with management.
  • Analyze and minimize equipment downtime, MTTR, and MTBF, while maintaining organization and housekeeping standards.
  • Generate and present daily and monthly activity reports.
  • Vigilantly inspect equipment materials and spare parts for accuracy during repair processes.
  • Operate the Time-Based Maintenance module within the SAP system to streamline maintenance procedures.
  • Present findings and suggestions for maintenance-related improvements to management.
  • Liaise with the engineering team to facilitate the introduction of new equipment.
  • Review and comment on equipment efficiency and recommend enhancements.
  • Participate in reviewing weekend plans, shutdown plans, preventive maintenance plans, and maintenance manuals.
  • Audit equipment materials and spare parts for precision and consistency.
  • Prepare and deliver documentation highlighting equipment inconsistencies along with proposed countermeasures.
  • Engage in supporting and conducting troubleshooting for malfunctioning equipment.
  • Create a comprehensive manual detailing breakdown repair procedures.
  • Detect and address departmental training gaps, developing tailored training plans.
  • Enforce adherence to OSHA and Mobis Alabama's PPE standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Offer support to the Maintenance Supervisor as required.
