Job Title: Marine Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Marine Service Technician to join our team at Ocean Pacific Marine Store & Boatyard. As a Marine Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and service on marine engines and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults on engines and equipment
  • Adjust, repair or replace electrical and mechanical system parts
  • Document inspection and tests made on engines and equipment
  • Estimate repair costs and review work orders
  • Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in marine maintenance and repair
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment
