Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Control Expert to support Senior Project Managers within our Capital Projects PMO. This long-term contract opportunity, ending in summer 2026, offers a chance to deliver major engineering and commercial projects across the province.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating project status reports, establishing trends, and implementing controls on projects with multiple considerations, including financial impacts, environmental regulations, corporate reputation, safety requirements, and labor flexibility.

  • Assist PM in gathering and assembling project cost and schedule data, ensuring its validity.
  • Track progress and assist with change and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, baseline schedule development, planning, progress tracking, reporting, change control, and analysis of schedule impacts.
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze data to assist with forecasting and detailed planning of assigned projects.
  • Ensure implementation of and compliance with document and project control standards, including Corporate and CPMO objectives.
  • Prepare project management deliverables, KPIs, and reports consistent with reporting requirements.
  • Effectively manage projects through their full life cycle using SAP, delivering quality projects within scope, on time, and on/under budget.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess a university degree or technical diploma in business administration or project management, along with excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in advanced computer applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SAP, is essential. Previous project management and/or Primavera P6 Scheduling experience would be a significant asset.

Benefits:
