Job Title: IT Support Analyst - Risk Technology Solutions

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to join our Risk Technology Solutions team. As an IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing high-quality application and user support to ensure IT systems availability, reliability, and performance that support business processes globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive application health checks to prevent potential failures
  • Manage incidents through to completion, engaging various IT teams in resolving incidents efficiently and effectively
  • Perform effective problem management on recurring incidents, leading and managing problems throughout the lifecycle
  • Ensure problem resolutions are released in production on-time and with high quality
  • Ensure all changes to the Production Environment follow the TD Securities Change management process
  • Proactively review IT environment to ensure that steps are taken to support new IT related regulations and address gaps in the procedure
  • Perform scheduled activities such as DR testing, user attestations, remediation of control audit, etc.
  • Update knowledge-based articles on timely manner and conduct trainings across regions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Client(s), Relationship Managers and Project Managers
  • Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project/business objectives and providing client services
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/points of interest
  • Provide after-hours support if required
Requirements:
  • Experience in Banking Operations technologies such as liquidity, credit and market risk
  • Practical working experience in multi-tier applications support will be an asset to have
  • Practical experience of support both Physical, and VMware environments
  • Understanding of financial markets and products
  • Experience working with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams will be an asset
  • Knowledge of scripting, automation and process improvement
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
  • Working experience with the technologies like Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, Python and Java will be an asset
Skills Category:
  • Experience in Linux, Oracle, MS SQL DB, ITRS, Autosys, Dynatrace, Splunk
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, including Azure
  • Knowledge of Scripting, SQL and/or experience in programming languages such as Java and Python
  • Strong in writing SQL (data retrieval/update/inserts) on DB2 / Oracle / MS SQL Server
  • Knowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodology, and ITIL
  • Experience in messaging, middleware, Java application servers
  • Computer science or Mathematics degree desired
