Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Experis Canada. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining large-scale network infrastructure in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and support network switches, wireless access points, structured cabling, and voice infrastructure.
- Work closely with vendors and end-users throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design, install, and maintain technical network infrastructure, including structured cabling, cable management, and connections.
- Oversee technology-related construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality and technical standards.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, pricing, installing, and supporting large-scale network/cabling infrastructure in an industrial setting.
- Exposure to Cisco switching, VoIP, and enterprise wireless systems.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Networking or a related field.
- Cisco certifications (CCNA – Voice, Wireless, Routing & Switching) are an asset.
- Structured cabling certifications (Belden, Panduit) are an asset.
