About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that we are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
