About the Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing suites, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and common areas according to a pre-set schedule.
  • Performing laundry services for residents as needed.
  • Identifying, reporting, and logging potential maintenance issues to management.
  • Maintaining the housekeeping room, equipment, and carts in safe and sanitary condition.
  • Replenishing housekeeping carts and managing cleaning chemicals safely.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least two years of experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry.
  • Grade 10 high school education or equivalent, along with the WHMIS program.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards.
  • Ability to self-direct and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding and respect for the needs of seniors, their families, and other professional services engaged with our residents.
