We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Helper to join our team at Schoonderwoerd Bros Concrete Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Helper will assist in the construction process by loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials. The successful candidate will also be responsible for erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Transporting materials to and from construction sites
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in the removal of rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
Requirements:
  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Team player with good communication skills
