About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Interior Systems Installer to join our team at J-Mar Interiors Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a smooth finish.
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to meet precise specifications.
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings, and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath.
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools.
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation to meet building codes and regulations.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, with a focus on safety and precision.
Requirements
  • Own vehicle for transportation to various job sites.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in drywall installation is an asset.
