We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carvery Team Member to join our team at Fortinos. As a Carvery Team Member, you will be responsible for producing high-quality carvery products, preparing and stocking the carvery department, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce quality carvery products following standard fabricating and finishing procedures according to production lists.
  • Be responsible for the full preparation and stocking of the carvery department.
  • Effectively prepare carvery products according to Company standards for food preparation and appearance.
  • Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Respond to any customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times.
  • Assist the department manager in the training and direction of part-time staff.
  • Be responsible for the opening and/or closing functions of the department.
  • Ensure the maintenance of equipment and the safety and sanitation of the production and back room areas, as per Company Policy.
  • Maintain the department in the absence of the department manager.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of three (3) years' experience in food preparation, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evening, nights, and weekends.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
