About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Boulder Design Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to ensure that structures are safe and secure.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure that surfaces are even and stable.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure that equipment and tools are in good working order.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to ensure that areas are clear and safe.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Attention to detail to ensure that work is completed to a high standard.
Working Conditions
  • Work will be performed outdoors in a variety of locations.
  • Work will be performed in a noisy and dusty environment with some exposure to hazardous materials.
  • Work will be performed in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
