Job Title: Wellbeing and Regulatory Specialist

As a Wellbeing and Regulatory Specialist at Kellanova Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the development of nutrition labelling information, claims, and communications to support category and brand marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop nutrition and ingredient labelling information for assigned product categories, brands, and projects to be compliant with government regulations, policies, and company guidelines.
  • Liaise with Wellbeing & Regulatory team colleagues, brand marketing, and legal to identify and develop consumer-driven claims to promote brand growth, which are consistent with sound wellbeing & nutrition principles and Canadian food and nutrition regulations.
  • Research and respond to nutrient, ingredient, and recipe-related information requests for assigned brands to support internal business operations and processes, consumer inquiries, and customer requests.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar position in the Consumer Products Goods industry.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Food and Drug Regulations and Safe Food for Canadians Regulations is a strong asset.
  • Experience in information management and/or data analysis is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for analysis of data, in addition to time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel in particular), SAP, and various internal databases is required.
