Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products, ensuring a high level of quality and precision.
  • Sort and categorize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials, maintaining a well-organized workspace.
  • Clean and maintain machines and immediate work areas, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of materials.
Work Environment

As a Welder Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity. You will be exposed to a dusty and noisy work site, requiring attention to safety protocols and personal protective equipment.

Requirements
  • Physically demanding role, requiring the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented setting, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Basic education, with experience in a related field an asset.
