Job Title: Surveillant/ Lifeguard

CSTU is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surveillant/ Lifeguard to join our team at the Ulluriaq Rehabilitation Centre for Youth with Disabilities in Montreal.

Job Summary:

The Surveillant/ Lifeguard will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool users, providing first aid in emergency situations, and maintaining the pool equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise pool users and ensure their safety
  • Provide first aid in emergency situations
  • Maintain pool equipment and facilities
  • Perform other related tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid lifeguard certification
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
  • Be fluent in French and have a good understanding of Inuktitut
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

The Surveillant/ Lifeguard will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of responsibility. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:

CSTU offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 23.24$/hour rate and 11.91% fringe benefits for the first 3 months.
