Job Summary

Central Protection Services is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Manage contracts
  • Initiate enforcement procedures to fine or close an establishment
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Oversee development of communication strategies
  • Develop and implement health and safety plans
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Advise senior management
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operationsRequirements
