Job Title: Attendant for Persons with Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Attendant for Persons with Disabilities to join our team at Peter Skierka. As an Attendant, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, promoting their emotional well-being
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in an urban area and in clients' homes
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
