Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Refinisher to join our team at East End Auto Body Shop LTD. As an Automotive Refinisher, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through painting and refinishing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace

Ensure a safe and organized workspace by cleaning and maintaining equipment, tools, and surrounding areas.

Replace Front End Components

Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components to ensure a smooth and even finish.

Mask and Tape Auto Body Surfaces

Apply masking and taping techniques to protect auto body surfaces from paint and other chemicals.

Apply Primers and Paint

Apply primers and paint to surfaces to achieve a smooth and even finish.

Mix Paint and Blend Colors

Mix paint and blend colors to match the original finish of the vehicle.

Apprenticeship Training

Participate in apprenticeship training to develop skills and knowledge in automotive refinishing.

Work Experience

Gain experience in paint spraying and other related tasks to develop skills and expertise.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Personal Suitability

Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic to ensure high-quality results.

Experience

Have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
