We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Island Health. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a rural setting.
About the Opportunity
This is a full-time or part-time opportunity for a Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Port McNeill Medical Collaborative. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative practice with a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing primary care to patients in a rural setting
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participating in on-call ER coverage at the Port McNeill & District Hospital
- Providing education and support to patients and families
Benefits
The successful candidate may be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
- Recruitment Incentive: $20,000 (full-time)
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000
- Fee Premium: 22.82%
- Annual Flat Fee: $26,008
- Rural CME: starting at $3,000/annum in year 3 & 4 in community, increasing to a maximum of $5,000/annum after 4 years
