Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our USA Centre of Excellence team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Oracle database design and administration, with expertise in 11g, 12c, and higher versions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain customer databases
  • Participate in primary database analysis for new projects and implementations
  • Extensive troubleshooting, performance tuning, and diagnostic report analysis
  • Data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning
  • Respect deadlines and manage emergencies
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable Skills

  • PostgreSQL or MySQL experience
  • PeopleSoft, E-Business Suite (EBS, Oracle Apps) experience
  • Platforms: Linux, AIX, MS Windows, Solaris
  • Oracle High Availability (RAC) Real Application Clusters & Data Guard experience
  • Unix, Linux, and MS-Windows shell scripting
