Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems and ERP Project Manager to join our team. This is a player/coach role that will balance strategic and analytical capabilities with soft skills to ensure that the broader team is buying into the process and feels included and heard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Define scope and objectives on business opportunities, prepare functional process charts to analyze business operations, and gather and document business requirements.
  • Business Process Improvement: Plan, design, or modify practical manual and automated business procedures, assist with the design of business process and documentation, and prepare detailed specifications for business applications.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business standards and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.
  • Technical Expertise: Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems, coordinate and perform in-depth tests, and conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing.
  • Training and Support: Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems, and manage 3rd party IT partner and facilitate IT requirements internally.
Requirements
  • PMP (PMI Institute) or related training in Project Management
  • Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Minimum three years of related work experience in Operations Systems
  • ERP systems experience is a requirement, such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft D365 (with preference for D365 Business Central)
  • Business Analyst certification or relevant courses are preferred
  • Must have previous experience with operations business applications
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and/or Oracle database
  • Working knowledge of Project Management best practices
  • Able to communicate on a technical and non-technical level depending on the audience
  • Proven leadership in coaching and developing teams
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Manage large and small projects
  • Work independently and on collaborative teams, as necessary
  • Ability to work extensively with Operations and at various levels of the organization
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
