Job Title: Cleaning Porter

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cleaning Porter to join our team at Dexterra. As a Cleaning Porter, you will play a critical role in maintaining a sanitary environment and ensuring the cleanliness of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detail cleaning and sanitizing of men's public and staff washrooms, including restocking of supplies as needed
  • Sweeping and mopping hard floors, including entrance matting
  • Responding to calls for spill cleanup and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Cleaning and sanitizing public elevators, entrance door glass, steel, and touch points
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and emptying of garbage on loading dock in compactor and recycle stations as needed
  • Maintaining detailed work and safety logs daily
Requirements:
  • A great attitude and strong work ethic
  • Commercial cleaning experience is an asset, but training will be provided
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machines
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role
