Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Exploring Wonders Daycare Inc. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, provide guidance, and support children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identify potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's well-being and protects their health and security.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal awareness, values, and ethics, creativity
