About the Opportunity

  • We are looking for a creative Industrial Designer to utilize and build upon their experience in our dynamic team.
  • You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, display types, materials, and processes within your daily routine.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders from every stage of the product development process, from the client to the production team.
  • You will propose new ways of thinking, innovative processes, and cost-effective production methods to achieve sustainable solutions for our clients.
  • You will interpret client briefs and effectively confirm design intent.
  • You will develop ideas, concepts, and proposals that are sustainable, cost-effective, and can be manufactured within a specific timeframe.
  • You will review solutions with the client and collaborate with the project team to develop next steps, including prototyping and working with subject matter experts/external partners to develop innovative solutions.

About You

  • You have 5-10 years of experience in Retail Merchandising Displays, POP.
  • Beauty industry or retail merchandising experience is an asset.
  • You have advanced knowledge of CAD Software, including SolidWorks experience.
  • You have intermediate to advanced knowledge of 3D rendering software.
  • You have advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite, with a preference for PhotoShop and Illustrator.
  • You can interpret design briefs, prepare presentations, and communicate feedback and instructions in oral and written form.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000/year

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience, and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
