Job Description

Blazesoft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our finance team and play a key role in financial management.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget forecasts and financial statements, to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Publish financial statements on time and assist with audits and tax filings.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports for accuracy and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Prepare monthly divisional financial statements and build, maintain, and distribute monthly reports.
  • Prepare gross profit report and distribute semi-monthly and maintain documentation of Accounting processes.
  • Control and file sales tax reports, T4, T4A, WSIB, ROE, PD7A remittances as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager or Accounting Specialist, preferably within the gaming or tech industry, with five or more years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Canada and USA accounting.
  • Focus on achieving results, adapting to non-traditional working hours, and committing full-time.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
