Physiotherapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Ontario Partners in Health. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and care to clients in long-term care, retirement, and assisted living settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and manage assessments and treatments for restoring movement and function, orthopedic conditions, and pain management.
  • Provide physiotherapy to outpatient residents in long-term care, retirement home, and assisted living settings.
  • Develop personalized treatment programs that include exercise, manual therapy, and home exercise programs.
  • Prescribe and educate clients on the utilization of mobility aids, assistive devices, and other equipment.
  • Oversee Physiotherapy Support Personnel (PTA).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario.
  • Experience with supervision of support staff.
  • Experience in working with the geriatric population and chronic diseases.
  • CPR certification.
  • ADP certification, or willingness to become certified.
  • Strong physical assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A commitment to best practices, quality, and client-centered care.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
