Job Summary

Optimum Ride is seeking a skilled Bus Driver to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and ensuring a smooth ride.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Buses: Safely transport passengers on designated routes.
  • Report Incidents: Notify dispatch of any delays, mechanical issues, or accidents.
  • Load and Unload: Safely load and unload passengers and luggage.
  • Emergency Procedures: Direct passengers during emergency evacuations and deal with public effectively.
  • Logbooks and Reports: Complete accurate logbooks and reports as required.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 2/2F/C Licence.
  • Driver's Abstract: Valid driver's abstract and a willingness to travel.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
