**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority.
Salary: $23.236 – $31.210 per hour
About the Position:
Under the supervision of the Team Leader, you will be responsible for meeting the dietary needs of our Hostel clients. Your primary duties will include following menu/recipes, cleaning and maintaining the dining area, restocking supplies, and working as part of a team to prepare for meal service and cleanup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow menu/recipes to meet daily menu requirements
- Clean and maintain dining area
- Restock supplies before end of shift
- Work as part of a team to prepare for meal service and cleanup
- Participate in ongoing training and education
- Assist with inventory management and ordering
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Persons of First Nations ancestry will be given preference
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in a dietary setting is an asset
- Ability to work on feet all day
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
- Must be independent and self-motivated
