Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient care, medication management, and staff supervision.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by counseling patients on medication use, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient filling of prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors and hospitals, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and technologies to provide the highest level of care and service.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to achieve business objectives, including improving patient satisfaction, reducing errors, and increasing efficiency.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and standards
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting
