Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Staff I to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our quality and presentation expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to order, adhering to our menu specifications and quality standards.
  • Chop, slice, and prepare ingredients for cooking, following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing and cutting vegetables, and cooking food items as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient food preparation.
  • Participate in quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our quality and presentation standards.
  • Adhere to our company's code of ethics, integrity, and conduct, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards colleagues and customers.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with frequent standing and walking.
  • Bilingual Chinese preferred, but not required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
