About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Inclusion Support Worker to join our team at Medicine Hat College. As a Community Liaison, you will play a vital role in supporting an adult with a disability to thrive in community and in relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with and support increased independence in household care and management
  • Assist with and support increased independence in personal care and management
  • Establish and maintain connections within the community
  • Accompany and provide support with community, recreational, and leisure activities
  • Evaluate and plan with service providers and other support workers
  • Support and facilitate the use of augmentative communication devices
  • Maintain client confidentiality
