Sienna Senior Living is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and direct maintenance activities to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Supervise and train maintenance team members to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and scheduled servicing operations.
- Determine scope of work, obtain cost estimates, and refer specialized work to outside contractors.
- Lead recruitment, orientation, and performance management processes for maintenance team members.
- Manage and monitor expenditures, explain monthly variances, and work with the Executive Director to identify corrective action.
- Relevant post-secondary diploma in a field such as building systems.
- Minimum 3 years' management experience.
- Health and Safety Certification (level 1 and 2).
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment, computerized building management systems, electrical systems distribution, fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
- Ability to read and interpret building prints and drawings.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
