Job Description

We are recruiting for the position of Food Safety and Quality Technician based at our Vancouver Refinery. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive team that prioritizes food safety and quality.

The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of functions, including sample collection, testing, and data entry. They will also be required to participate in the HACCP team and maintain documentation.

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of HACCP principles, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and product quality standards. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Sample products and perform tests to generate Certificates of Analyses
  • Sampling and testing environmental effluents to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Equipment calibration and troubleshooting
  • Work independently during early morning shifts
