In this role, you will be tasked with managing various heavy machinery essential for tunnel logistics within the DNNP Project. This position offers a chance to engage in significant infrastructure initiatives throughout Canada, playing a vital role in Aecon's ongoing success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Operate multi-service vehicles (MSVs)
  • Manage the operations of the Erector
  • Excavate tunnel entries
  • Transport materials to vehicles
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary

Essential Qualifications:

Education
- Completion of Secondary School or equivalent
- Specialized training in heavy tunnel equipment operation
- Proficient in English

Experience
- Basic safety training certification
- 2-3 years of experience operating heavy tunnel machinery
- Background in construction-related tunnel operations

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage of $53
  • Shift premium available for shift workers
  • Total wage package of $76.55 per hour for Local 183 members

Work Environment:

  • Primary location in Ontario
  • Travel across Ontario may be required
  • Exposure to construction site conditions
