Animal Care Assistant Opportunity

Charles River is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Assistant to join our Toxicology team at our Senneville (QC) site. As an integral member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our laboratory animals and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain animal rooms and cages
  • Handle and care for laboratory animals
Requirements:
  • Ability to work physically, lifting loads of 20-25 lbs
  • Capacity to follow precise instructions
  • Enjoyment of working with animals
  • High School Diploma (DES) required; AEP in Animal Care is an asset
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $18.50, with premiums for evenings, weekends, and overtime
  • Full-time regular schedules, with mostly day shifts and weekend rotations
  • Free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
