About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Risk Management Lead to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of project risk management plans, managing risk leads, and ensuring risk priorities align with project priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of project risk management plans, including risk registers and contingency plans.

  • Manage risk leads and ensure risk priorities align with project priorities.

  • Lead the performance of quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis using risk management software.

  • Lead the preparation of detailed project and program risk reports, including P50 and P80 cost and schedule risk exposures.

  • Review project contingency utilization and alignment with cost risk exposures.

  • Evaluate risk mitigation effectiveness by consulting with clients, project staff, and senior management.

  • Lead initiatives on preparing procedures, training materials, and work instructions relating to risk and opportunity management.

  • Lead on initiatives for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Proficient in the use of risk management software, such as active risk manager (ARM), Oracle Primavera Risk Analyzer (OPRA), Acumen risk, Safran, or comparable dedicated software.

  • Demonstrable problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with construction methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
