Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Winnipeg. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal resident outcomes and staff utilization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans that promote comprehensive care and resident-centered practice

• Provide direct nursing care to residents based on medical orders and care plans, with attention to maintaining accurate records and promoting resident safety and well-being

• Supervise and evaluate the work of other nursing team members, ensuring high-quality care and efficient staffing utilization

• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in gerontological nursing and resident-centered care

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current registration as an LPN with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)

• Prior experience in long-term care is preferred, with a focus on supervisory roles and leadership development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams

• Commitment to resident-centered care and willingness to adapt to changing resident needs and priorities
