Senior Accounting Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Administrator to join our team at Zanchin Automotive Group. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for performing various accounting duties, utilizing industry knowledge of the entire accounting cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all vehicle sales transactions, verifying the accuracy of all pertinent information
  • Reconcile vehicle sales gross profit, commissions, and schedules
  • Reconcile all vehicle receivables, including manufacturer programs
  • Assist in closing month- and year-end
  • Process and submit insurance and warranty remittances, and reconcile related schedules
  • Manage vehicle flooring and payouts
  • Back up other team members during absences
Requirements:
  • 1 to 3 years of proven dealership accounting experience
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
  • Proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds) is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • Ability to maintain professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
