Tax Compliance and Advisory Manager

Key Responsibilities- Client Management : You will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, serving as their primary point of contact. This portfolio will mainly consist of operating partnerships, S-Corps, small C-Corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Tax Compliance : Ensure the timely final review and submission of federal and state income tax returns, including quarterly estimates.
- Advisory Services : Deliver federal and state tax advisory services to corporations.
- Audit Support : Assist with federal and state audits, including correspondence, data gathering, and audit coordination.
- Collaboration : Regularly engage with our offshore team to facilitate the execution of tax compliance and advisory services.
- Risk and Performance Oversight : Manage engagement risk and performance metrics, including project budgets, resource allocation, and financial tracking.
- Business Development : Actively participate in and contribute to the firm's marketing and business development initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years in public accounting firms, complemented by advanced academic qualifications; active CPA license is required.
- Strong technical expertise in federal and multi-state taxation.
- Extensive experience in tax compliance for business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and passthrough entities.
- Considerable experience in tax compliance for C-Corporations.
- Proficient in automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office tools, with hands-on experience in advanced Excel features, Thomson Reuters Gosystems, and tax research applications.
- Exceptional supervisory, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
