Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced iOS developer to join our team as a hybrid role. This position will require working on-site 3 days a week and remotely the remaining 4 days.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and enhancing features across our flagship apps, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.
Responsibilities- Feature Development: Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our iOS applications.
- Maintenance and Support: Perform annual maintenance on the codebase and automated build scripts to keep pace with changes to iOS and Xcode.
- Certificate Management: Maintain certificates and signing, including certificate pinning, provisioning profiles, and push notification certificates.
- Issue Resolution: Monitor production feedback, crash reports, and analytics, and address issues promptly.
- Collaboration: Work with infrastructure teams to address proxy software and administrative privilege issues that impact iOS development or build processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Swift 6; familiarity with Objective-C is a plus.
- iOS Experience: Broad experience with iOS APIs, including but not limited to: Local Authentication, WebKit, Networking.
- Programming Concepts: Deep knowledge of iOS programming concepts, including but not limited to: Threading, Crash Analysis.
- Xcode Expertise: Familiarity with the latest Xcode, xcodebuild, application loader, and iOS versions.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Prior experience providing technical guidance to junior resources and reviewing pull requests for architectural correctness.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Education: BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- API Development: Experience developing APIs.
- Android App Development: Experience with Android app development.
- User Experience: Strong user experience skills.
