Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, prepare, and adjust processing machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record production information and complete reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Make adjustments to machinery as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Operate single-function machinery to process mineral ores, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Verify processing conditions and work area to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Operate and adjust equipment that grinds, filters, mixes, or processes minerals, requiring attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Monitor gauges, meters, computer printouts, video monitors, and products to ensure correct operation of machinery and identify potential issues.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, gloves, and tools are required for the job.
