Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Aide to join our team in a private household setting. As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for Pets: Provide regular care and attention to our clients' pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to our clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Assist with Personal Hygiene: Assist our clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their comfort and dignity.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Assist our clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical mobility and overall health.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and dishwashing.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Private household setting.
  • Work Schedule: 8 to 28 hours bi-weekly, with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
  • Language: English or French.
