HCBS Programmer

Job Summary

The HCBS Programmer is a key member of our team at Imagine the Possibilities, Inc., responsible for developing and implementing community-based programming for individuals served. This role requires a strong understanding of waiver concepts, such as individual choice and decision-making, and the ability to create and manage programs that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement new community-based programming initiatives
2. Write and develop programs for individuals served, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations
3. Maintain accurate records and reports, including program updates and client information
4. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure shared oversight of services and effective program implementation

Requirements

1. Minimum 18 years of age
2. High school diploma or GED equivalent
3. Reliable transportation and personal auto liability insurance coverage
4. Background checks and valid driver's license

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment and in the community, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The physical demands of this position include lifting up to 35 pounds, prolonged sitting and computer work, and frequent bending and stretching.
