Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Limited.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and Train Staff: Hire and train or arrange for the training of staff, including sales workers and design team members.
- Authorize Payments and Order Merchandise: Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise for the store.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Manage Cash and Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage cash and oversee payroll administration, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews of staff, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Site Environment: Non-smoking and air-conditioned.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English.
- Hours of Work: 32 to 35 hours per week.
