Job Summary

CIMT College is seeking a qualified Clinical Instructor to supervise PSW placements at a clinical facility in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for following CIMT College's policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver curriculum to students in the PSW program
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in a clinical setting
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and student files
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure confidentiality of student information and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals
Requirements
  • Must be a Personal Support Worker with a PSW certificate from NACC, post 2015
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment
  • Must meet Instructor qualification standards as outlined in the Regulations to Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
